We are not totally out of snow season yet here in the Catskills. But mama nature did recently gift us with a handful of days with temps in the high 50s and low to mid-60s. During one such day I was able to get in a nice Pepacton loop ride via Millbrook Rd. I also dipped into a few of the unpaved seasonal connectors on the way over. All of the unpaved sections are freshly graded and have a nice new topcoat of gravel. It’s safe to say that they were in better shape than most of the paved sections leading over to the actual reservoir loop. This bodes well for all of the early-season NEBDR riders. The brutal winter and super wet spring have left a lot of loose debris on the back roads. I’m happy to say that the actual loop was very clean and smooth. Here’s to a great riding season, friends!
